The classic RE games will tell you what Resident Evil actually is, or was intended to be. It's managing limited resources and small inventory space in a tense/scary scenario. It's exploring, searching for keys, finding clues and solving puzzles. It's wandering around interconnected buildings trying to find a way out.

The game doesn't even know what it wants to be. It's poorly put together game and shows lack of strong direction. Level design is pretty bad, QTEs are everywhere and forced scripted events are laughable at best. All of these aspects make it a below average game. It's also a bad RE game because of lack of horror.

Everything in the game from the ui, font, pacing and gameplay is so bad. RE6 is awesome if the game actually let's you play it. Wich is why the Mercs mode is the best in the series. In the campains there are too many over the top set pieces with bad controls where you have to drive something or run a specific path. ugfpu.
