Try this, I've had issues with latency in different games too. For call of duty games using a 5ghz wifi signal pretty much solved the problem, in other games it was the other way around, i needed a 2.4ghz signal. Also don't try to use a mixed signal, 2.4+5, it won't work MW2 had its issues but overall it was action packed, great maps, and customization. Every call of duty to date has had local, offline splitscreen. I bought this game hoping to be able to play it with my dad, and now we can't play splitscreen. We were able to play in a private lobby using another ps account I have, but that stopped working after the first update. To clarify, in offline splitscreen you only have access to 3 maps
It is to me going to be a money based system again, though league of legends i could make new emails over and over, with a game like call of duty modern warfare, i already tell people ill buy an entirely new computer to play it, as a counter threat to the "voice chat warning" dictator-ish elite super-power threat to my account.
MW3 but only because the gameplay is faster. MW3 by a long mile. MWII had too much focus on its Fortnite gimmick, was a haven for sweats, terrible UI, luckily I can work around that with MW3 with the classic maps having need to be looked at in a more 3 dimensional view.

Mw2 relevant also - Nat type and broken lobbies. Support. Update - Activision port list added below. I think it would be huge to give people a notification when their nat type is moderate or strict, the notification could introduce them to port forwarding and point them in the direction to fix it. Nat type issues are the cause of most of the nSRTpJ.
